<< Biography >>
He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Yokohama National
University, Japan, in 1969 and 1971, respectively, and the
D.Sc. degree from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1976.
Since 1974 he has been with the University of Electro-Communications,
Tokyo, Japan, where he is currently an associate professor of the
Department of Computer Science.
From 1980 to 1982, he was a visiting researcher at Carnegie-Mellon
University, PA USA.
His current teaching/research interests include computer architecture,
VLSI design, and computer networking.
Dr. K. Abe is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, IPSJ, and IEICE.
